Manuel Ugarte has stepped into the spotlight for reasons beyond football, after being seen with his new partner, Georgia May Heath, who happens to be the ex-girlfriend of his former PSG teammate, Kylian Mbappe.
The Manchester United midfielder was spotted out in public with Heath for the first time as the pair went grocery shopping at Waitrose.
Manuel Ugarte goes public with his romance with Mbappe’s ex
Back in 2021, Heath was pictured having dinner with Mbappe in Greece, and she was still reported to be holidaying with him as recently as January 2024, according to the Sun.
Ugarte eventually put months of speculation to rest last month when he confirmed their romance with a social media post.
He uploaded a photo of himself and Heath relaxing on a yacht during a holiday in Spain, tagging her name with a heart emoji.
Any tension between old teammates seems unlikely, though. In a show of support, Mbappe’s account even liked the couple’s post on Instagram.
Meet Georgia May Heath: Manuel Ugarte’s new partner and Kylian Mbappe’s ex
Georgia May Heath, 27, is a British influencer with a following of more than 230,000 on Instagram. Splitting her time between the UK and Australia, she regularly shares fashion and beauty content with her audience.
What makes her new relationship all the more intriguing is her history — she previously dated Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe, who once shared a dressing room with Ugarte at PSG.
Manuel Ugarte’s performance at Man United this season
According to data culled from Transfermarkt, the Uruguayan hasn’t started a match this season and has struggled to make much impact when coming off the bench in the 46 minutes he has played across two games so far. Off the pitch, though, he seems to be faring far better.
Ugarte, 24, made the switch from PSG to United last summer in a £50 million deal. On the pitch, however, his time in Manchester has yet to take off.
The erstwhile Sporting CP midfield anchor and Mbappe played together 34 times in Paris.
